void

VOID

NAME

void - Discards output from an expression.

SYNOPSIS

void pop(a)

DESCRIPTION

This statement is used to discard the output of an expression: it stops the function from returning anything it should have returned. By default, when you type something like pop(a), the result is printed. If you use void on this function, it would be cancelled and nothing would be printed.
