Add or edit a category

To add a new category, just click add (at the top of the page) in the category list, or click the "+" button in the right panel (next to the page names). You will have access to the creating form. Find below the main fields in the General tab:

• Active: activate or note the category
• Index (SEO): choose wether the category page can be found in the search engines index.
• Page title and category name: Write here the category name
• Template : do not change the default value
• Master template : The template created for the categories on your site. 
• File name : part of the url
• Folder name : shows the path of the category in the url
• Parent: if your category is a sub-category, choose here the parent. 
• Category name : this is displayed in the breadcrumb

The canonical URL Tab is used for duplicate content. In the meta Tab, you can find the all the meta fields (Title and opengraph for example).

In the Advanced tab you can find the number of visits, but also the page code (do not change this value; the page code is used by extenso, any change applied here will break the page.)

If you cant to edit an existing category, please click on the pencil in the category list or in the right panel, open the page and then click on parameter at the top right.
